Great book book from topic of innovation management, here is my short review (I warmly recommend it):
Jeffrey Phillips has done a great work covering topics needed for success in developing innovation culture in companies. Also, many hurdles and problems upon this path are mentioned and explanations are given in a way how to avoid them.
The main hurdles mentioned: Business As Usual and Middle Managers are explained in detail in a way that they could be turned to become the best Asset for Company’s Innovation.
This book will certainly help business leaders to understand current innovation needs in every company and what can be the biggest obstacles in making innovations work.
Author had also made excellent remarks regarding innovation management in contrast to lean, six sigma and similar techniques.
Several examples of successful innovation companies are described through the book, which makes this book a must read for any company seeking their innovation culture.
